Looking for a bucket & spade

I decided to go on amazon.co.uk to look for a bucket and spade to use for my digipak/magazine ad photoshoot

Magazine Advert Draft

Just posting a quick draft of my magazine advert. I am using the adobe Photoshop CS3 software to create and edit it. SO far, my design is quite simple as it is only a draft, but this is the sort of lay out that i would like my advert to have, I will also be creating a portrait version as well as this landscape version. At the moment, the image that I have used for the magazine advert is the same that I have used on my draft digipak, this is because I haven't taken my own original images yet, when I do i would like to have a different image on my digipak cover to my magazine advert, because i want to have a variety of images included so as to attract more interest in the artists new album.

Diary #8

In the last few media lessons, I have been working on the print based elements that accompany my music video: The CD Digipak and the magazine advert advertising the release of Ben Howard's new album. At the moment I have some simple preliminary ideas which i will show below of the front and back cover of the digipak. I still need to make the rest of the pages that will be included in my Digipak. As well as this the images that i have currently included on my digipak are from getty images, so I still need to have a photo shoot on location to get the images.

Editing Software

I will be using various editing softwares throughout the post production phase of my project. These include Adobe Photoshop CS3, Adobe Premiere CS3 and possibly Adobe After Effects CS3. I will need to use Photohop for creating my digipak and magazine advert as well as using it for editing the photos that I intend to use on them. I will need to use a variety of the 'tools' available on Photoshop to ensure that my images are of a professional quality and to make sure that my digipak and magazine adverts look well presented and are the best that I can create.

Premiere will be the main software that I will use to edit my music video, in order to produce a final cut.
I will need to place all of the shots that I have taken on a timeline on premiere, alongside the song I have chosen, I will then proceed to cut from each shot at the appropriate times in order to make my video flow in a similar way to that of my animatic. I may also use After Effects to create a lightening strike effect in order to add to the gloomy scenes that take place in the video.
